in progress photos of my first collar! the inside bottom is lined with a grey, the cowl neck is lined with a bright orange-red. tomorrow, i’ll be adding the finishing touches, embroidery, finishing the inside edges, and adding extra details :)

final semester
i can’t believe this is my last semester!
i am really excited about my ideas for my critique class…i’ll be posting some inspirational photos, so you can kind of see what i’m going for.
various found/bought fibers are still going to play a very important role in my designs…
i’m contemplating utilizing my knowledge in various printing techniques to do some of my own patterned fabrics..we shall see..
i guess that’s it for now!

so for the past week i have been knitting like crazy trying to create these large tubes. at first i thought they only needed to be around 5 to 6 ft to get the desired effect i wanted, but sadly i’m ranging from 15ft to 30ft, depending on the thickness of the yarn. yikes!
the necklaces are turning out to be really exciting and i can’t wait to add the plastic attachments at the ends.
